The hair on the back of my neck stood up. Energy saving invention? Two gentleman? Something strange going on here. I went in and asked Betty if she had talked to Mrs. Hanson other than the letter I read. "No" she said. I asked her if the woman she had gotten Mrs. Hanson's name from new about the invention, or about my partner and I. "No I don't think so" she responded.
Then she said "Bill, I've got her phone number too. I think you should give her a call!". Now I've never been all that outgoing, in fact, I would consider myself somewhat shy. I told her "Naw...I don't think so." Betty however persisted and convinced me to give this "Mrs. Hanson" a call.
I had no idea what to say to her, I wasn't even sure why I was calling her. But I dialed her number and after a few rings that grandmotherly voice answered the phone. "Hello?" she said. I responded with "Hi, Mrs. Hanson?". "Yes" she answered. "My name is Bill Lund, and my secretary Betty told me I should give you a call" I stated, not sure what to say.
Mrs. Hanson responded with "Bill, you are very scientific aren't you!" Before I could respond she said "Your favorite subject is physics isn't it!". Well it seemed she had me pretty well pegged. I could see just about anyone thinking "yeah...I'm scientific", but how many people have physics for their favorite subject?
The next thing she said was "Bill, why don't you write me a letter with a few questions?". I told her I would and we said goodbye. A short and intriguing conversation.
Now there is just no way that someone told Mrs. Hanson that Bill Lund's favorite subject was physics. Betty certainly didn't know...no one knew I would call her...it was just too weird. The real shocker though was yet to come.
My wife and kids and I were off to Santa Cruz for a camping trip or something, and as I pulled out of the driveway, I stopped and checked the mail box. Ah ha! A package from Mrs. Hanson.
As we headed down the road on our way to Santa Cruz I popped the tape into the player and we began listening to the tape. Wow! Mrs. Hanson's psychic readings on cassette tape really blew my wife and I away! She new about as much about me as I did. It's tough to remember the details as it was a few years ago...at least ten years I think...but I do remember a few specifics.
Mrs. Hanson told me I was tall and bald. True
She said I was very funny. True...at least my friends think so.
She mentioned that I only slept 4 or 5 hours a night. True
She kept mentioning she was picking up on a "duality" but she wasn't sure what it was. Later when I told her I had an Identical twin brother she thought that was probably what she was picking up. She calls it "reading the energy".
Over the next 7 or 8 years Mrs. Hanson and I regularly wrote and talked on the phone, and I received several cassette tapes from her dealing with questions I had.
One thing I'm quite sure of... at least some psychic readings ARE real, and do provide accurate information. However, even Mrs. Hanson is not always right.
On this page I just wanted to acquaint you with my first real psychic reading experience and how it impressed me.
