Mind over matter - Do we create our reality?
Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research
Scientific Study of Consciousness-Related Physical Phenomena
The Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) program was established at Princeton University in 1979
to study the interaction of human consciousness with sensitive physical devices, systems, and processes.
The PEAR program has proved that a human mind can influence physical
devices! Just think, your mind can affect your environment! Mind
over mater!
The PEAR program demonstrated that the distance from the human operator to
the physical device made no difference in the outcome. The operators were
just as effective 2,000 miles away as they were when in the same room with the
experiment! Distance has no effect whatsoever!
And even stranger, the project showed that not only could human operators
affect the physical devices and systems, but the could do it both in the past
and in the future! The operators had the same results even when
influencing the devices as much as 72 hours before, and 336 hours after the
running of the experiment.
Sound like science fiction? You can find out more about the PEAR
project at their website here: PEAR
For me this sheds a whole new light on some of those self help books I read.
The ones about creating your own reality, and manifesting whatever you desire.
The power of positive thinking has new meaning.
Quantum Physicists tell us that if you keep breaking mater down into smaller
and smaller pieces, you end up with Quarks, little packets of energy that blink
in and out of existence. We are nothing more than vibrating energy
packets.
Many physicists believe that reality only exists when there is a consciousness
to actualize it. No mind no matter.
The PEAR program certainly provides fruit for thought.
